So I finally got around to watch The Church on Ruby Road, and you know what totally irks me? The professionally produced pop song the antagonists break out into in the middle. Doctor Who is silly at the best of times, but seeing humanoids that only croak otherwise break out into clearly pronounced English for their song kinda kills my suspension of disbelief.
