If rumours are to be believed, her storyline will be given to/merged with Rhaena.

To me, it doesn't make any sense thematically: Nettles and Rhaena are diametrically opposed characters.

Neetles is a peasant with not family while Rhaena is a Targaryen princess, Nettles tamed Sheepstealer on her own whereasRhaena was given a dragon egg twice.

You can give Rhaena Nettles'storyline but it will make the themes explored by the show poorer.
