I haven't dealt with this, but I have had friends keep things secret from me in which I didn't know why they'd keep such a secret from me. And most times it hurt my feelings. In a particular situation, I felt like I couldn't trust my friend anymore.

I completely understand that people have their own reasons to keep a lot of things close to their chest (I certainly am not someone who tells people everything about me), but there are times where one or both parties failed to set things straight. And depending on what the history of the relationship is, it can often be a sign of friendship reevaluation.
