Hm. Some of my friends and I casually enjoyed Arcane and have been talking about how we're looking forward to the second season. This is the first I've heard anything about abuse involving any of the people working on it.

I also only pay attention to the show, not the game.

Arcane is one of my favorite seasons of television in existence and I have no idea what abuse the secret is referring to. Whatever it is, it's not nearly as ubiquitous and well-known as OP seems to think it is.

I don't really have any opinion on the secret, though.

Riot Games had a class action sexual harassment and gender discrimination suit filed against them in 2018. Ironically, it seems as if the Blizzard sexual harassment news pushed it out, and that Blizzard's reputation tanking effectively rehabbed Riot's PR without Riot actually having to do any work to address the gender inequities. (To wit: one of the men in the Blizzard "Cosby Suite" photo was and remains a Riot employee.)
