Pretty sure I know who this is, and anon, this isn't healthy. It's really, really easy to get caught up in the "what might have been" and paint those possibilities in glowing, rosy colors, but that's usually fantasy and wish fulfillment talking. Don't obsess over The One Who Got Away, you'll just make yourself unhappy and stagnate your life over nothing.

This fixation won't help, though. Obsessing over something that ultimately you cannot have and shouldn't attempt is a truly terrible idea and is bound to bite you in the ass. For your own sake, please talk to a mental health professional if you haven't already, and channel this into something less destructive.

Folks, just because you suspect something, and you might be right, doesn't mean you have to respond. I had my suspicions too, but they made it clear they aren't interested in listening to anyone who doesn't enable them. Frankly, next time, I'd just report the post because at this point, it's no better than a troll.
