I'm worried about coming across as being annoying and/or getting no reaction since I'm currently obsessed with a small fandom. :/

YEAH my obsessions are always old things/small fandoms... I just don't HAVE secrets about big current things.

Same. I have a few secrets in me, but the fandom’s old and not active and I’m worried about being annoying if I submit a bunch of secrets for it.

Not the secret maker, but I think that would count?

Same. I am getting lazy and sort of embarrassed to make secrets about most of my fandoms.
Also I am really wary about making secrets after people here dissing a show I love. Or just straight up ignoring.

YMMV, but F!S seems awfully grouchy, compared to what it used to be like. And, much as I'd like to post about whatever I'm into and geek out about what I love, that "I have no idea if I'd get people being happy alongside me or trying to declare the thing Problematic and the author also" ... puts a damper on wanting to make secrets like that.

Most of what I love is not up for other people to tell me to stop thinking about it or thinking of it fondly. When I come across that kind of attempted manipulation, I tune it out. But I would feel like I brought it on myself if I was going into panfandom spaces and centering my faves, when fandom at large seems to have bought into the idea that abstaining from "immoral" media made by "immoral" people is some sort of general obligation.

I don't mind hearing that people dislike things that I like for their own reasons. But they've got no boundaries and no sense of decency when they try to assert that I have to agree with them.
