Got a job offer from a former boss. Who I wouldn't normally want to work for again, it was not a good experience. But the email was actually apologetic. And given my current situation at my current job. Well. I'm at least entertaining scheduling a time to hear him out.

Oh, that's an interesting twist that it was an apologetic email! I would say go for a meeting, but keep your guard up. I believe people can change, but I also believe people can remain the same but manipulate others to think they've changed.
