I agreed to go out to dinner and it has been pushed back and now we are not meeting til 8pm and y'all I am usually in bed reading by 8pm. I am, at heart, a little old lady that prefers early bird specials and early bedtimes and early awake times. Ugh. I know I'll have a good time, but ugh.

Got a job offer from a former boss. Who I wouldn't normally want to work for again, it was not a good experience. But the email was actually apologetic. And given my current situation at my current job. Well. I'm at least entertaining scheduling a time to hear him out.

Oh, that's an interesting twist that it was an apologetic email! I would say go for a meeting, but keep your guard up. I believe people can change, but I also believe people can remain the same but manipulate others to think they've changed.

My flatmate is going away for a week soon. So I’m thinking about the things I can do while he’s gone… playing music just a bit louder and late at night, watching things in the living room that he hates, walking around less dressed, etc.

My flatmate is going away for a week as well and I am very excited. We are friends, but I just love being alone and they are always home so this will be a treat.

I just accepted a JOB OFFER today

and it's a job I KNOW I can do because I've done it before. and it's not some unholy hour of night

the best part is it's for a company and position I've generally been happy in the past that I Know I can do <3 and the pay here in Colorado is even better than the pay where I last worked it.

TBH with my OCD issues and being unmedicated I was starting to become convinced I was just doomed by the universe to fail ...which sounds crazy now but.. I dunno I guess mental illness + repeated failures do that

Still it's such a relief.

I was gone and mostly without internet access last weekend, so I didn't find out about the Linkin Park situation or about Dave Grohl's infidelity until yesterday.
I'm feeling very, "wow I'm mostly indifferent but younger me would have had thoughts on these messes"
I might make a secret about the Dave Grohl situation because I do have some more thoughts on that

PS. I am a stickler for time management because I want to have plenty of time to be by myself, especially before bed. I would felt similarly to a late dinner

I've been on the internet constantly and I didn't know about those things, nonny. But agreed, more indifferent to it now than maybe 20 years ago.
