I can see how people might consider selfcest to be closer to identical twincest than masturbation. It sort of depends on the specific situation as to how I see it, though I have no problem with it either way in fic. So, I think there is an argument to be had for genuine real-world parallels, even if I do think that the supposition that reading selfcest is going to cause anyone to do crime is ridiculous.

If the individuals don't identify as two different people, it's not real twincest, it's only sparkling selfcest
