You should definitely deal with that trauma. It's fine to not want kids. It's fine to not particularly care for kids. But calling them repulsive cockroaches that you can't stand the mere sight of? A teensy bit excessive there.

I'm not that great with kids either (thought I'm learning since I got Nieces and a Nephew who are all above the age of 3 now), but even before, that's an unhealthy perspective. They are people too.
