Probably $800-900 or so over the life of the game, and no, I don't regret it, because I played the game and had fun with it for a few years running. To me it's no different than spending money on concerts or amusement park tickets or going out to eat. It was money spent on entertainment and it fulfilled that purpose.

Thanks for pointing it out like this. I've been chewing my cheek thinking that I should feel guilty for spending so much money on a game but when people spent $2k plus to see Taylor Swift or some such concert, it feels like a better investment.

Yeah, for me, I'd rather spend the money on something I'll be able to enjoy for more than just a couple of hours. Sure, I know that all gacha have a finite lifespan and that eventually the pretty pixels I spent money on will disappear, but if I get to enjoy having them for a few years then to me it's more worth it than spending $80 on a dinner that I'll spend maybe 30 minutes eating and then it's gone.
