Just a couple days ago, a friend I've known since we were kids said she began to unpack some traumas and asked questions about herself after watching Heartstopper.

We're both in our late 30s.

She wants to start journaling so she can collect her thoughts and feelings more.

If you see this OP, it's never too late to figure yourself out. Never.

I didn't really face my fears and curiosity around sex and my sexuality until I was in my mid 30s.
I definitely went through a phase of grief for me and jealousy/envy of young queers when a lot of the "discovering who I am" stories I saw/heard were from people in their teens and 20s.
But I eventually found a lot of adult queers sharing their journeys and discoveries with their sexuality/identity well into adulthood.

No one has an "easy" path in life. Please don't count yourself out OP.
