I am in my early 40s and have felt the same for the oast 10 years or so. It is not even the age thing, I just feel like I have so much to do I dont have the time - actual or mental - to do such frivolous (said with self depreciation) things as explore who I am or want to be.

I hate that my teens were spent working to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads, I feel like I missed so much and can never recapture things.
