Because I need help, and I figure others might need some too.

What should I rewatch?

I've really only had the energy for Youtube videos recently. I really want to start a show rewatch this weekend, but I just can't decide what I want. Do I want something Halloween-related or something hopeful? So help me choose:

Supernatural
Buffy
Doctor Who
Babylon 5

I feel like Doctor Who is better for short attention spans because they do more wacky adventures and you don't 100% have to pay attention to the plot. Plus I just find DW the most fun and uplifting of the group. (Disclaimer: I haven't seen Babylon 5.)

But Buffy has some fun seasonal episodes if you want to just jump around.

Buffy and B5 would be the shorter rewatches, and thus my choices. (... I'd probably go with B5, entirely because I have rewatched Buffy more recently.)

Well, Supernatural would only be a season 1-5 rewatch because I don't like the rest. Honestly I may just watch an episode of each and see which I feel like continuing. I just can't make up my mind. I want to watch em all.

Buffy and/or Doctor Who.
I hate Supernatural and never watched Babylon 5.

I would say Supernatural because A, I think it's the most seasonal (with apologies to Buffy). And B, I think it is the most turn-your-brain-off of any of them.

Travel

I'm turning 40 next year and I want to celebrate it by going somewhere I've never been.

I'm tossing up between a safari in Africa or going to Japan.

On one hand, I've wanted to go to Japan since grade 5. On the other, it's too expensive, and a safari would be a once in a lifetime experience.

If you can afford it, I'd say Japan. Both would be awesome. But if you had the opportunity to do something you'd wished for and didn't, you'd probably end up regretting it.

My vote’s for Japan ‘cause I went there this year and absolutely loved it, but a safari also sounds amazing.

I think safari would be better for 40 and Japan for 45 or 50. Just because a safari seems like it would be harder the older you get. But I’ve never done either so I only mention it as something to maybe look into.
