It literally did not! It literally didn't. You can just move on. It's fine. It doesn't affect the future movies at all in any way, unless you specifically want it to do so. They can literally just make a new James Bond movie and not reference No Time To Die at all and it'll be fine.

Are you completely unaware of how human emotional connections to stuff work? Does your species not have those?

The thing is, at some point, I might call you immature, ignorant, hypersensitive, or even an asshole, but I also recognize all of those are human conditions. That's the difference between you and me.

Assuming you're the secret OP, you should find some other way to get over your butthurt instead of implying that anyone who disagrees with you must be of another species. Being someone who dehumanizes others is never something to be proud of.

But at that point, if that's the problem, why would the situation change if the Broccolis went on a stage somewhere and said the exact same thing?

If your emotional connection is ruined forever, that's one thing. It's a way I try to avoid thinking but it happens. But that's not the situation here!

This isn’t about if you like the movie or franchise though. It’s about your claim that one film destroyed the whole franchise when it didn’t.

For the record, I hated the Star Wars prequels and I hated the Star Wars sequels. And I just ignore them. I still love the Star Wars movies I grew up watching and loving. It’s pretty easy, tbh.

First Bond, huh? We have all been there.

But for real, though, I have lived long enough to watch five different Bonds, and By His Divine Shadow, I will live long enough to see five more. I might even enjoy some of them. NTtD doesn't need to disappear any more than Connery's Bond films did after Moore took over.

+1, this is how the Bond franchise works. I remember all the screaming because Daniel Craig is blond and how that will ruin everything.

100% agree.

It was a fucking travesty.

To be honest, I felt the bond films had been building to something like this when they started to go less episodic. I don't mind the occasional nod to canon, but whole movies that are just continuations of the last movies story isn't really a bond thing.

I'd let Casino Royale stand, and put in everything after. Which is a shame, because I didn't hate some of them, but reverting the films to one shots is the way to go.

Assuming you mean the Niven CR, then yep. If we're talking about Blondie Bondie then only Skyfall counts.

No, I thought Craig's CR was ok as a stand alone film.

But I could live with keeping Skyfall too. Shame about M

Getting rid of her was the best part of it, she was the worst part of the Brosnan era. They should never have kept that aspect when they did the Creg era.

Oh, you and me are not in harmony here.

I admit she didn't have the same chemistry she had with Brosnan, but I view that as another mark against craig, and not a mark against here. I thought she was a good M.
