They always think 'it was better in the olde days' (meaning we could say what we want without anyone daring to call us out, had more power, more priviledges, etc.) so change? A big nope. They're also just hateful jerks, period. Hating people and things is what they do best. Being vocally angry about in on social media, their backyard, right-wing and neo-nazi rallies,... is some of them's favorite pastime so any excuse to do so is a good opportunity, doesn't mean they cared about it in the first place.
