there were a few where the competitor had a rough cook and made legit mistakes, so those I understand, but the ones where the competitor fucking nailed it and the edits of the judges praising it end up fooling you when bobby wins it's like...fuck you and everyone involved. you know Bobby's dish had flaws and still chose it...

Watch his two episodes on the original, Japanese, Iron Chef. He's a douchebag of the highest order and incredibly disrespectful. Its so obvious they gave him the "win" in the second battle just to make sure he won't come back, whining about how he should've won.

I say this as someone who made a secret like a decade ago about how I suddenly and violently felt attracted to him after watching some series with him (might have been Beat Bobby Flay actually). The man IS a prick. He seems like he'd be a night mare to work with and I love watching him just absolutely seethe when his 'friends' roast him to ashes on BBF and he 'smiles' (if you can call it that) and claps his hands and acts 'fine'. This man is horrible and I hate him lol. But goddamn it if he isn't hot to me. Fuck me, really.
