Re: Do you include Author's Notes in your fanfic?

I tend to, yes, usually only on the first chapter if it's a multi-parter, though there have been exceptions. Usually it's just a couple of bits of insight as to what inspired the fic or how long I've had the idea for it. It's also where I always put the disclaimer, a leftover thing from my younger years that I never quite dropped.

I will say I'm a lot more taciturn in author's notes these days than I was ten, even five years ago.
