Re: Do you include Author's Notes in your fanfic?

Mostly if I need to provide some context for a fic, like a link song that inspired the story or title. There's also been times where I add additional warnings at the start if they feel too long to explain the tags or just exclusive to that one chapter.

Occasionally I might add a rambling thought at the end of the story for whatever reason. I usually stick to writing one-shots, but when I was writing multi-chapter fics I might put in an apology for being late or to give a heads up on when the next chapter might be.
