I don't know how people don't read author notes. I don't read them with the same focus I give a fic, but as I scroll past them, I do skim read them in case there's something I need to know re warnings or whatnot.

I don't read them because I basically do not.. see them? My eyes get attracted by the fic title on the page and anything above it just white noise.
(Yes I did unfortunately do the same with school assignments....)
So I certainly don't skip them because I think I know what's in there - like OP sillily does - but I do end up skipping them haha
