Well, I won't spend too much time on 2025, except to point out that trump has openly disavowed it, and Bill Maher has said that it seems obvious he's telling the truth on that much at least.

And I won't get into why people support him. Too broad a topic and I don't want to be fighting off people telling me to kill myself for the next 12 hours.

But you asked about Why support a convicted Felon:

Because we watched the process of lawfare that led to him being given that status as "Felon". We watched 4 years of Piss and Russians, we watched 2 impeachments, one of which was done after he was out of office, we watched the irregularities in the trial, from time to location. We watched the... Hell, one step away from being a kangaroo court and the trumped up charges, and the delays designed by a politically motivated prosecutor and judge to attempt to impact his ability to campaign. And we, frankly, disagree with both the process as it stands, and the outcome.

Did people not support Nelson Mandela? He was a "criminal" too. NO, calm down hateanon, I am not saying "Trump is Mandela" I am pointing out that people vote for criminals if they believe they are innocent of any wrongdoing.

Why NOT vote for a prosecutor instead? I can't be bothered to dig through the internet for the Tulsi clip, but I'm sure you know the one. Just imagine I posted it here.

If that Illuminates anything, I'm happy to help.

If instead all you got from that was "Deranged trump cultist doesn't believe the obvious truth that is clear as day to my educated eyes" (sorry if I seem defensive, but if you're not going to try and make me defend myself, someone else is and I'm fucking TIRED of blind cheery "Maybe I can help them see my viewpoint" optimism.) then I would remind you that two groups of people watched the same Nicholas Sandman footage, and came away with the fixed and unshakable view that 1. The kid did nothing wrong or 2. The kid was shouting Build that wall and harassing a native American elder. It's maybe just time to accept that we live in two different realities, and both of us are sure that our own perceptions are facts while the others is delusion.

AYRT. Thanks for the civil and informative explanation! I appreciate it. I've got some thinking (and some research about the Trump's trial) to do but thank you!

Holy shit! ok. Cool no problem.

Was legitimately expecting to be in for another fight. Thank you!
