Counterpoint: Going Postal.

Counterpoint the second: The animated Wyrd Sisters.

I would argue that ALL of Kings adaptations have been better than the books. Shawshank, Hearts in Atlantis are peak. Even the ones that suck are still better than his writing. Gods, I tried, I really did try to read the Dark tower books.

The Dark Tower books are pretty bad. His one-off stuff is better.

You mean his short stories? I would agree they're not bad.

I remember liking the Dark Tower books but there were only like 3-4 and then we had to wait many years for the rest and they like all hit at once it seemed. I heard they were terrible and couldn’t remember enough from the earlier books so never bothered with the new ones.

Hey, De gustibus non est disputandum, but the first one just couldn't hold my interest.

never read the Dark Tower books but I think Needful Things was one of his best books and the movie version was TERRIBLE.

Ok, point.

However Max Von Sydow was awesome in it.

Going Postal wasn't good, though. It was dull as hell and the actor playing Moist was bizarrely directed to have zero showmanship in his performance.

We will have to agree to disagree on every point you raised here.
