My teeth have been straightened with braces, but they're not perfectly straight, square and blindingly white. IMO, that would look weird. But it's not just the whitening that's the issue, it's the veneers which look way too artificial.

+1. My teeth are pretty square and straight, but they are my teeth and you can tell they're natural. I can spot veneers from a mile away. Nine times out of ten, they look too big for the person's mouth too.
