American here, and I agree. The blinding white teeth are always unnerving to me.

My teeth have been straightened with braces, but they're not perfectly straight, square and blindingly white. IMO, that would look weird. But it's not just the whitening that's the issue, it's the veneers which look way too artificial.

Can agree that when I watched "My Mad Fat Diary" I recall finding the male lead really attractive because his teeth didn't look perfectly aligned and blindly eggshell white.

I've always appreciated that Patricia Arquette didn't get her slight snaggle tooth straightened. It's really rare to see any public figure in America with not-so-perfect teeth.

It's especially bad when it's supposed to be set far back in the past or the person is supposed to be poor, yet they signal someone on the moon with their bright white teeth.

I know straight teeth have long been super common in American media but thankfully I haven’t seen anything with actors who bleach their teeth. I don’t think I could stand to watch anything like that. I struggle with the horrible veneers of British actors as it is (looking at you, Fassbender).

Yep. I hate that Trixie Mattel got those awful slightly too-big veneers when she could've just gotten her natural teeth whitened. And I had to look side-eye when she said her dentist came up to her after a show and said "it's time to talk about veneers." Mama. What??? I would've told that lady (dentist) "it's time to talk about finding a new dentist."

p.s. Trump's teeth are the pinnacle of gross, fake, way to old to have blinding white teeth!

It certainly felt like the end for Deadpool. And *another* ending for Wolverine. But to me, it also pretty strongly skewered the multiverse concept and made a statement of "actually, these superhero stories that existed before, and outside of, the MCU had value despite their flaws". So it feels like a tacit admission that the multiverse story is a flop, and perhaps ideally they *should* drop it but obviously they can't because the next films are already rolling.

I don't know how to NOT fandom hop. I see a new thing (or a new-to-me thing) and my brain lights up like a suburban street in early December and I just want to take those lil guys and put them in situations. Really rotate them around in my brain with some grit until I can see shinny colors. Put them, a twig, and three leaves in a mason jar with holes in the lid and SHAKE. Roll the setting up into a pillow fort and nap, comfy and drooling on on the canon.

I have very little control over the process. I am a boat on the sea, watch how I squee.

That said, I bet you have a lot of fun being an expert in things. Really growing and changing alongside the thing you fandom.
