I'm glad we're at the point where we can now officially and legally go on record and say Israel is committing a genocide. That Bibi is a War Criminal, as well as just a right wing scumbag, and we can remember that one of those who handed down the indictment is a Holocaust survivor who knows exactly what this means.

We can stop crying antisemitism at every criticism of Israel, and start the healing process. As soon as Israel accepts it has gone beyond the pale, of course.

I think Israel definitely went too hard, but also, Palestinians have been waging terror for decades as well, and that attack last year was horrific. What exactly did Hamas expect to happen in response when they kidnapped and killed kids?

I'd rather have a Russian Empire than a new WW3 with nukes because two elderly leaders want a legacy and won't back down.

You know, even the founders of the Manhattan Project thought it would be better to let the Nazis win in WW2 if their nascent Atomic bombs were projected to do too much damage.

Thankfully they did a lot of serious math, and it turned out they'd overrated the risk in their earlier calculations, but that is the seriousness they weighted the matter. There is no way that Putin can actually hold Ukraine even if they take it. Russia couldn't even hold Afghanistan at the height of its power. Any new Russian Empire would be strictly temporary.
