I hate that the internet and fandom has somehow decided that fucking furries are more deserving of respect and protection than trans people are.

I hate that certain "feminists" have decided that the existence of trans women is a threat to cis women. And that they generally pretend that trans men don't exist, mostly because it ruins most of their arguments.

Sometimes yes. But when it comes to sports and bathrooms, they pretend, and have to pretend, that trans men don't exist. Because it does ruin all their arguments.

Even if that were true, there are infinite better ways to combat misogyny than trying to convince trans men to examine themselves until they detransition. It's not even "We can do more than one thing!" because even if you used every moment of your life to combat misogyny and never slept, you would still accomplish more by doing things other than anything that involves the personal business of trans men.

And when misogyny is purged from the world entirely, we will see if your theory holds up if trans men suddenly stop existing.

mte, most of the trans people I met back in the day were through furry fandom, and furries tend to be more accepting of folks who don't fit society's gender expectations. So it's weird to present them as though they are entirely separate groups.

Demographics have shown that the avatar and persona aspect of furry attracts a lot of LGBT people, especially trans, so...

I hate the take that "furries are inherently queer", because they aren't. A lot of the old guard were cishet dudes, pretty conservative to boot. But it's not fair to make them out to be completely separate, unrelated groups when that just isn't true.

Anyway, I want to know where on the internet you've gone that your assertion is true, because it isn't here. Or have you conveniently not paid attention any time anything to do with trans people has come up here?

Allegedly this is on the Trump agenda. Not sure I buy that myself, but it's being proposed by many of the trump camp...

My question is: Who opposes this? I mean, ok, obviously the people ON the list, but other than "I'm on the list and I don't want it to be known" I'm not sure I follow the opposition argument to this.

This is the place to come to find people to argue, so let's be having it: Why WOULDN'T you want the lists made public?

I mean, its very, very likely that any list released under Trump will be very much censored to avoid implicating himself and at least half his upcoming team so that's definitely something to be wary off.

Especially any foreign ones who interfered with the election (I won't discriminate against the domestic ones either). I'm also open to building our own communities and making their money worthless.

This is just a rant, in case anyone was confused and thought I was going to change the world with a paragraph or two on the internet, because apparently posting about politics in a section meant for... politics... is stupid.
