This doesn't surprise me? If people are labeling themselves as "proshippers" first and foremost, as opposed to "people who ship X/Y" who happen to want to be left alone about it, then they're more about fighting antis than the fandom itself.

You're successfully finding what you're looking for, but you may be looking for the wrong thing.

I don't think it is quite that strong. And I think Blue Bloods is worse. But I do agree that Gibbs is awful. I feel that way about Tony too. I stopped watching the show because of them.

I hate that certain "feminists" have decided that the existence of trans women is a threat to cis women. And that they generally pretend that trans men don't exist, mostly because it ruins most of their arguments.

But a lot of them aren't actually turn-based anymore. To the point weher several games have turned off long-time genre fans because they don't enjoy the action adventure gameplay that has often replaced classic turn based gameplay.
The plot thing I kinda get but that's not limited to JRPGs - the main difference with JRPGs is how often the games end with your protagonist/player character sacrificing themself for the greater good.
