Twinkly Lights from Bob’s Burgers and much of the Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack. It doesn’t snow where I am so it’s hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit when most Christmas songs involve snow and sleighs. I do, however, like Run Run Rudolph by Chuck Berry.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

P.S. Please don't worry if you've submitted a secret and it hasn't been posted yet. I usually post these threads before running out of the previous batch of secrets to get a head start on the next batch.

I'm so sick on all these new takes on old stories that turn the villain into the hero and the heroes into the villain. Giving us the villain's backstory and even making them sympathetic, cool. But if you have to demonize the hero in order to do that, you just aren't a very good storyteller.

I'm still bitter that Sisko go the final fight with Dukat instead of Kira. She's the one with the history with him. She's the Bajoran. It should have been her. Give Sisko the Pah Wraiths and Winn and Kira fights Dukat.

I wish we could get some more comedy fantasy or science fiction like Mystery Men or Galaxy Quest. Those two movies predate the current era of stuff and yet they are very predictive of what came after. I would love to see a movie now in a similar vein.

Not secret: I love Monty Python, they're one of my favorite comedy teams ever.

It looks like the live action How to Train Your Dragon is going to be basically a shot for shot remake. I don't care. I'm still all in.

I wish long-running tv shows would stop having one of their main characters cheat on their romantic partner. There are so many other interesting plotlines a show can do that isn't that. And then eventually everything goes back to normal and forgiveness comes way to easy. Stop it with the affair storylines of characters we are supposed to root for.

I used to read a lot of history books back when I didn't have a full time job. I still love history. But now I get my history from Youtube. Mainly from Simon Whistler channels. I feel kind of bad that I'm not at least verifying the things that sound questionable. But I just want my fun history time.

The one thing I don't like about the Moffat Who era is when the Doctor is made president of earth for emergency situations. Just such a bad idea. No one person should get that kind of power, and Who is usually good about that. Even though it is the Doctor, still bad idea. We do have the Valeyard still to come.

I tend to think favorably of actors who play villains more often, as opposed to actors who play nothing but the good guy. I could just be imagining it, but it just seems like the former are generally nicer than the latter.

After reading lots of M/F, M/M, and F/F... I find I like PIV smut best. Doesn't matter what genders the people are, or who has the P or who has the V. I just like PIV best.

I don't know if that's vanilla or what.

I firmly believe that much of the defensiveness of Swifties comes in reaction to the continuing issue that much critique feels like it's coming straight from "it's a thing young girls like, and things girls like can't be good." Like there is some serious condescension in Swift Antis.

Back when Twilight came out I had hope that at least female buying power would bring us some respect, but instead it went the direction of "women are so gullible, we can sell so much to their silly, money-wasting asses".

I've been watching this shit for 20 years now. It was there before me for a long time before that. I just never thought it would still be here now. I might actually die of old age on this hill.
