I wish we could get some more comedy fantasy or science fiction like Mystery Men or Galaxy Quest. Those two movies predate the current era of stuff and yet they are very predictive of what came after. I would love to see a movie now in a similar vein.

I got kicked off of a Trek forum online for my theory that Tony Shaloub's character had a Chinese name in Galaxy Quest as an in-joke to the fact that Brent Spiner played Dr. Soong in Next Gen. I think that's a ridiculous reason to kick me off, especially considering how many Trek in-jokes are in that movie.
