Remember civility, everyone.

You are why the left always loses.

Marvelous how you well you type with your tongue up Trump's ass.

(Anonymous) 2024-12-07 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
You assume way too much and are a dumb ass.

Civility goes both ways.

And frankly, I'm not going to judge the collective catharsis of folks who have been badly and repeatedly screwed by a system that takes their money but finds all reasons to not give them what their dollar paid for. When the system isn't charging the patient impossible sums in the first place, that is.

There certainly is a problem here. The reactions to the man's death are just the symptom of that problem. And comments like yours just tell me some folks in the world would rather bury their heads in the sand than acknowledge that there are unfair systems in place that need to be changed.

I'll take a temporary lack of civility over a society that uses politeness as an excuse to not fix its ugliness toward its own people.

+1

Also, random people on the internet are not representatives of "the left", politicians, journalists, activists, and educators are. Those are the ones who should be civil. Meanwhile right wing politicians will vocally say whatever bigoted crap they want with little pushback from their tribe. I don't care about every day people venting online.

Unfortunately the lack of civility is never temporary.
