I never watched past season 5 because that whole arc was so well done and left me feeling more satisfaction than curiosity over whatever might come next.

Ben Edlund's "On the Head of a Pin" stands out as my favorite episode and one of the most masterfully written TV series episodes I've ever seen.

OH man, that is one of my absolute favorite episodes too. So much characterization that works so well. I love it.

I watched a bit past season 5 and while, like OP, I enjoyed a couple of episodes, the story ending at Swan Song was something special. It ended there, as far as I'm concerned.
