I'm happy that the Section 31 movie is underperforming so badly. Honestly, reading the negative reviews is the most fun I've had in Trek fandom for years.

Yeah, Michelle Yeoh was under contract to make one before she had her career renaissance. Paramount held her to that contract, and it shows in her performance that she just does not want to be there.

I don't get this. Why would you take joy in something doing badly just because you personally don't like it? It is one thing if we were talking about something created by terrible people. But you just don't like Discovery.

The movie is bad. I couldn't even make it through. But I just find this mindset so strange.
