RuPaul giving us drag to the world was absolutely an important step in LGBTQ+ content and identification. In 2025? We're straddling this line of being culturally post-drag but politically "can we just not get rid of our human rights please?" Drag has its issues, but anyone regardless of gender who wants to love a sequinned gown and sky-high hair should be allowed to love it. Can we safely say that, when the shitty powers that be want to take us back to pre-Stonewall? IDK that we can.
