I don't. This is already a money that is spent.
And I am over 40, so I also remember cash blah blah. But the thing is, I have enough experience to know that if banks and systems are fucked, cash money is also fucked. So you all hiding your cash in a jar won't help.

Based on living through a major storm: When the power grid goes down, the businesses with generators will be open with "cash only" signs.

But I'm fine with people thinking cash in jars won't help because that's one less person in line for ice and fuel.

This only works for a week or so.
I am talking as someone who lived through country collapse and several finance crushes, also people dealing in barter to survive. Also couple of robberies.
AND I actually think that having some cash on hand is beneficial.
But your precious jars really won't help you much
