I'm absolutely convinced that Londo and G'Kar had terrible hatesex at least once. Like, I don't even ship them really, I just know it happened. Then 3 seasons of character development happen, they become buddies, and they never speak of it to each other again. And then - and this is CRUCIAL - Londo wakes up in a cold sweat one night like, oh shit, we're not going to kill each other on purpose, I'm gonna die by breathplay. This is the worst conclusion ever. He's almost glad when they eventually DO end up strangling each other and it's NOT during sex, bc he was NOT willing to unpack all that.

It's a little funny coming to a fandom so late in the game, because now I have all these (probably really mundane and old news) opinions about stuff and I'm debating whether or not it's worth it to make secrets or just kind of let them remain shower thoughts, LOL.

IMO, make the secrets if you're inspired. I got into POTO in the 90's and it was one of my first online fandoms. Or, as we called it... phandom. I know there are at least a few other phans who hang around this com. And maybe your secrets will lure new people down to the lair!

I have very little respect for vocal ship or character-haters in general, though. I mean, when they're vocal about it, but ESPECIALLY when they jam that into unrelated fic. It's a click out for me, bro.

Do you feel guilty about what you read/don't read?

I was having a discussion about this with a friend recently, and secret #5 kind of tangentially reminded me of it.

I try to read a wide variety of genres, including "serious" literature because it's something that I was told from childhood is Very Important to do to be a well-rounded individual. Yet a lot of the classic/"important" books are just so damn boring to me, and it makes me feel bad about myself for not wanting to read them.

Then there's my friend who reads exclusively trashy romance novels, doesn't give a damn about serious/important books, and doesn't even feel guilty about it.

Part of me judges her for not even attempting to read serious or "smart" books, but the other part of me envies her for reading only what she enjoys.

I just feel...I don't know, I guess conflicted about the whole thing.

Where do you all stand on this topic?
