I couldn’t hang with this show but you’ve helped me put my finger on one of my issues. I really couldn’t stand the “Maybe it’s supernatural, oh wait, no it isn’t. Or is it? *wink wink* muwahahahaha” and I only got small bits of that because I gave up on the show very early on.

You're right to feel annoyed! It's an annoying trend and it's okay to move on from the show if it isn't fulfilling you anymore.

I enjoyed some of the first season but it just got...weird, and tedious, and it was so out there, and not in a good way.... I had higher hopes.

I sorta feel like the show jumped the shark this week especially, with what happened on the island.

And we're almost done with S3 and we still haven't gotten answers to a lot of things from season 1. Just more questions.

I wasn't going to watch this show because cannibalism is a major squick for me, but the whole oooohh but IS IT the paranormal...??? thing would annoy the crap out of me, too.

For me I gave up on this show around the beginning of S2 when it became clear that they cared way, way more about the way, way less interesting adult!half of the story and were only paying token lip service to the more interesting half. Also, yeah, I'm with the commenter above where the characters have gone beyond unhinged and interesting all the way to just stupid.

Accomplishments

What have you accomplished recently that you feel proud of, no matter how minor?


In spite of exhaustion and a morning 1.5 hour drive each way to visit a client, I managed my tax return, 4 loads of laundry, took out the trash (pickup is mondays and wednesdays), and filled the bird feeders. I've been struggling with basic life tasks lately, so I'm happy I got it all done.
