Best characters are Jay, Gloria, Clair and Phil for me.

The kids have their moments as charaters, but for the most part they work better as props or excuses for the plots.

Lilly had some good moments when she got older, tho. Particularly her rivalry with the faghag played by Elizabeth Banks (Can't remember her name right now), and the whole "I hate viet nam" / "You're not gay it's just a phase" episode.

Here's my hot take, tho. I absolutely do NOT want the inevitable reunion in another 10-15 years when everyone involved with the show has nothing better to do. Just leave it how it lays.

I stopped watching and unfollowed one of my favorite YouTubers because they went on a rant* about how it is always morally wrong to get a purebred dog and how bad you are as a person if you don't adopt a shelter dog.

I don't know if they're being childish for having such a black-and-white view of things, or if I'm being childish because I have a purebred dog and I got offended by that. :/

*The rant was in a video about their relationship with their partner. I'm at least mature enough that I didn't click into a video called "My Opinion on Dogs" and then get offended when they shared their opinions on dogs.

Adopting is great, but you're potentially opening yourself up to dealing longterm with a dog that has trauma and a lot of bad training you need to undo.

A responsibly well-bred dog from a breeder is fine. They health check, ensure lines aren't closely related and don't breed dogs with issues. They will also let you see the bitch at home with the pups and allow you to meet the sire, or put you in contact with the owner of the sire, which is usual. Responsible breeders are important. You also get a dog more likely to have a standard temperament for that breed from a good breeder.

Buying some random dogs from Janet who rubs two dogs on each other and gives them a stupid-ass portmanteau name to make a quick buck is not a responsible breeder. Anyone who sells anything ending in 'poo' or 'doodle' or anything along those lines is not a responsible breeder. Ever.

Ngl I do judge the people who order a designer or purebred dog, but I also know there are certain circumstances that getting a purebred is not awful. But I can also see people who shop for purebreds getting defensive about this. So I think both your takes could be right.

Yeah, I'm honestly sick and tired of that attitude myself. It is not random people's responsibility to clean up other people's messes, and by that I mean their refusal to get their pets fixed. No one should feel pressured into adopting someone else's mutt all because they wouldn't get the snip for their dogs.

Irresponsible breeding is bad. Period. Just because it might be a "mix" doesn't mean good practices were followed.

That said, all doggos deserve love.

Wait, I'm out of the loop, this is how I found out this movie is even a thing. I'm actually excited to see his take on the Odyssey, his films are hit or miss for me but the ones I like, I do really enjoy.

As far as the actual content of the secret... Yeah, idk. There is a lot of controversial subject matter in the Odyssey, I could definitely see wank coming from the choices made in this adaptation.

I can't stand gravy on my mashed potatoes. I always put a bowl to the side and dip the potatoes into the gravy. For biscuits and gravy, I always tear off pieces of biscuit and put a bit of gravy on each piece.
