Up until a point, sure. Are THEY sad about it? Because if not, this is more you having feelings about a thing, which is natural but best not to let it get out of hand or focus too much on it.

I'd try to unpack why it's bothering you, though. The answer likely lies more with you, and not your friends' actual friendship.

I think it's just me. We used to all hang out together, and sometimes when I'm with one, I miss the other.

Makes sense to me to be bothered. It's good if you can move past it and not take it personally, what happened between them is out of your control and if they are over it, then there's no reason to let it poison your ongoing friendships. But getting sad sometimes about missing the old group dynamic is totally understandable.
