The trick is to find the gross women (protip: search tumblr for the names of main characters until you find something unhinged in its horniness. Or search Marine Meat Monday.)

/Grimdank is pretty ok, and most of the fandom for Rogue Trader is a blast.

Be sure to block/mute/whatever anyone who focuses on the Custodes too much. (Not that Custodes are bad, just that the dust up over Custodes made plain the assholes)

Youtubers I recommend are Krakduck and Isander & Koda.

Avoid facebook and twitter.

What, like a fresh out of the oven cookie being shipped with a stale old crumbly one? How many years does it have to have been baked after the other cookie for it to be a child?

I hope it gets completely scrapped.

We should start mornings later in the day, like the afternoon.

5am is too early for anyone to get up.

I don't know how to tell you but

The cookiee can reproduce and they do mostly age.

Yes, exactly that. The poor buggers up top would freeze. I lived near a couple of beacon hills in Worcs, and was at this beacon-site https://www.crichparish.co.uk/newwebpages/crichbeacon.htm l for the quadricentenary of the Armada, and you don't need to be on a giant mountain to see a distant bonfire at night.

But the visual in the film was just stunning, I'll grant you that.

I'm not a fan of Seinfeld by any means. But I do feel like dating a 17-year-old high-schooler a few weeks from her eighteenth birthday and a month out from her graduation in a state in which the age of consent is 17 may be slightly different from being a pedophile.

I feel your pain, though not on this particular book series/tv series. I was really into the Wheel of Time books, and I could not get into the TV show at all because none of it matched what I had in my head from the books. This is why if I read the book I tend to avoid the TV or I try to watch the TV show/movie before I read the books.

I used to have bipolar but the kind that with some effort I could ignore. Then it became hard to ignore and I started on meds. Then the meds stopped working. And lately I feel like it’s gone from rapid cycling to “I just need to take sedatives and sleep for 2 years so that everyone forgets me <3”

I really really do not understand critic about them being hippy book people have. Yes, everyone a bit more comedic in tone including MB. But what is so weird and unprofessional in them... holding hands? This ritual isn't more weird and stupid than saying grace or wearing a hijab - it is part of a culture. Frankly, thinking about I find a lot of Christian rituals way more fucking stupid and unprofessional. Unprofessional to paint your place in more pleasing colors even if you are not getting your deposit? No one done that? Really? Oh no, this peaceful people are being extremely naive about being in a conflict zone. Yes, they must be unprofessional and stupid. /s

I am sorry for rumbling, but this is absolutely annoy me

Ok, lets do this:

BBC America's "The Watch". That his daughter let it happen was... Unforgivable.

The Kenneth Branagh "Halloween Party" adaption (Venice something). All his Poirots fail to some degree, but TINA FUCKING FEY as Ariadne Oliver, and Ms Oliver BETRAYING Poirot... Fucking disgusting.

The new Lilo and Stitch. Obviously going after any of the Disney Live actions is low hanging fruit and completely beneath me, but this one is special...

Anything by Adi Shankar. (Except Laundry day. Can't deny him his props there, but everything else has been horrible) The man is the Uwe Boll for the 2020's. And at LEAST Uwe Boll had the excuse he was doing a "springtime for Hitler" tax scam.

Agreed for anyone who hates getting up at 5 am.

But for anyone who gets up at 5 am, kindly remember not everyone gets up at 5 am so please shut the fuck up as much as possible, looking at YOU, Kevin from upstairs with the evidently modded motorcycle.

But also agree personally. If I'm up before 9, it's too early and if I'm doing anything before 10, don't expect quality because the brain has not caught up with the fact that the body is up.

Me too. Or at the very least, dragged out for so long it's basically ineffective.

...it's got nothing to do with holding hands or painting anything. Everything they do would be great - AWESOME - if it were remotely connected to stuff they did in the books. It really isn't, and it's just weird and yes, annoying. Fuck Xian rituals - i hate all that shite. These are simply not the people I got to know in the books, and absolutely loved.

If you like, yay you! Go on and enjoy the heck out of it. I simply do not, and prefer the book characters over the series ones.

(Anonymous) 2025-06-27 01:23 pm (UTC)(link)
*striked. they did anything in book 1 like at all?

It is good that people have different aspects of this universe to enjoy!

Are you asking did they do anything in the first book like they're doing on the show? I don't have a great memory, so i can't say 100% yes or no, but the way they acted on the show as professionals AND as friends/a team just struck me VERY oddly, differently, and just gave me this huge 'this is NOT THEM!' feeling all the time.

I love that people are loving it, it's awesome there's a show, i'm glad we can all find the format we enjoy the most.

I like getting up early but I HATE people who act like not getting up early is some sort of moral failing or something. No, Janice, people are not lesser tham you for not being early risers, get off your high horse.

Yeah, bipolar disorder. It never leaves you, it just changes with you.
Also I get you. I went from rapid cycling (like hypo 1 week depression 3 weeks with little to no respite and some incredibly scary manic episode in between) to mostly normal for a couple of months, hypo for one-two weeks and depressed (but manageable) for a minimum of three months. Fuck this shit...
