If I woke up a billionaire, I’d pay off my house, buy a vacation house, and a camper van. Everyone in my family already has their houses paid off. I’d buy a commercial property for a local artisan’s co-op and storefront. I’d donate a ton of money to the local nonprofit that helps struggling families. I’d pay the utility bills for anyone in my county who had their service cut anytime in the last five years. How many times I could do that would depend on how many people it was but ideally I could help a few dozen households for a year. I’d spend my time touring with my dog in my camper van and delegate things like the utilities program to a personal manager. Oh and I’d buy some clothes. Something that doesn’t wear out after ten washes.
