I'm pretty sure I'm middle class. Not poor enough to feel the pressures to save and buy off brand but not rich enough to easily do extravagant things and buy big purchases.
I'm also credit card poor. I have a considerable amount of credit card debt, and I'm often battling between paying off my cards or using them when I have no money in my checking account.
It's gotten better recently. I moved back in with my parents and they don't ask me to pay bills. I also got a raise recently, not a lot but every cent counts.

Enough money would be automatic half million dollars given to me and a raised income of about $95k-&120k/year. That way I can pay off my debts, get a new car and a place of my own, be able to get everything I need to set up a comfortable place for myself, and have money in my savings account so I never have to worry about being destitute.

If I inherited a billion dollars I would pay off all my debts, and my family's and some of my friends' debts. Get myself set up for early retirement. Buy myself a new car and a home. Buy things for hobbies. Give money to mutual aids and charities. Save money for myself and for some loved ones by creating trusts for them.
