I don't think this is racist, it's not like you're harming anyone or upholding harmful stereotypes. I think you're being a little too harsh on yourself Secret OP. It's pretty cool you can discern the differences between the languages despite not knowing either languages.

I was just going to say I'm the opposite. I prefer to hear spoken Japanese over spoken Chinese (I don't know how controversial this is but I prefer Mandarin over Cantonese). I don't speak any of these languages, just basing my preferences off what my ears find more pleasant lol
