No offense taken, your ranting is completely justified. I was basing my opinion on what I saw in the picture, which was not your original intention, seems like. ♥

She didn't even do anything to deserve it; her personality just grated on my other friend's nerves. So it does happen for no reason sometimes.

Well ... that's still a reason, as superficial as it might be. It doesn't justify her going behind her back about hating her, but if someone's personality grates on yours you tend to not like them. =/

You want to say something to me, you say it to my goddamn face.

I totally agree. I honestly can't stand it when people go behind my back about anything, really. =(

Why become friends in the first place, then? Or why wouldn't you break it off once it became apparent you two couldn't get along (which to my knowledge you can typically notice early on)? Nobody's forcing you to interact.

I don't know. It just sounds so silly to me.

Well, sometimes you don't realize until you become better friends with them how irritating they are. I've had experience with people like that before. Also, although that may not have been the case for you, there may be times when you works with this person, play in the same RP as this person, etc. and that really DOES force you to work with them.

It does sound silly, but that's the way life is. =/

Point taken.
