I like a mix of museums/historical stuff that's usually city-centered, and days that are more about exploring the country and beautiful landscapes. Either way, I like good food to be involved. On a long-ago trip to England, I spent 4-5 days in London hitting museums, the Tower, etc. and then a few days in the Cotswolds with side trips to Stonehenge and Avebury. If I'd had more time, I would've liked to go further and see Dartmoor and the Dorset coast, or Cornwall.
