Re: Based on 1
(Anonymous) 2025-08-22 12:02 am (UTC)(link)Saaame. It always make me laugh that people like to say ebooks are helpful for people with ADHD because that is the absolute opposite of my experience. I just for some reason cannot sink into ebooks the same way I can physical books, my mind just wanders. (General Disclaimer: I know everyone is different, it probably does help others with ADHD)
Re: Based on 1
(Anonymous) 2025-08-22 12:11 am (UTC)(link)other ADHD fellow here and same! Physical books is all I tend to read because I can immerse more easily and don't lose focus than much. But I read fanfics on e-reader because reading them on a browser is like inviting my ADHD gremlin to open a new tab every time I have a fleeting secondary distracted thought.
Maybe people say that reading on an e-reader is easier because they compare it to reading on a Tablet or the computer? Who knows.
