It's very likely that you will get mildly-moderately sick in the first few weeks because new workplace means new germs, plus you will be tired from absorbing new information. If you make sure to be punctual, reliable and pleasant from the start, you can then take a sick day if needed without everyone thinking you're a flake.

This thing is so real.
I had to take couple of days off on one job. Because I went from job searching and working from home to a new (also highly stressful especially to a new person) environment with A LOT of new people. Didn't get through probation because "I get sick too often". I think it's a good thing because department's boss was so fucking bad, but I would have stayed because of the field of work.
