Can you explain what kinds of fandom snobbery you’re talking about? I mean, any examples of comments, real or hypothetical?

I know there used to be occasional “how/why is this fandom?” comments under certain secrets, but I haven’t seen one of those for a while.

I do see people assuming that their corner or version of fandom is the only/main/default one. But I think a lot of that is genuine ignorance with a bit of bog-standard personal bias.

I mean, other people told them they were wrong, but it does happen. I also remember some objection to a sports fandom, a hiking secret, and possibly something about knitting, within maybe the last year. I wouldn't call it frequent.

That's it. Also wishing pox on people is really shitty, what with the pox researchers in the World. Wishing a deadly illness just shows the kind of person OP is and farther invalidates the secret's point.
I try to notice positive rather than the negative so OP of secret 03 would be a counterbalance to this disappointing garbage.
