Oof, we've all been there, OP. I've had the urge to delete my fics, but in the end, I chicken out in the the end. I don't even orphan them. What I do is change the date so they're at the very bottom of the list of fics I've written. That helps me kinda forget about them. I've also had readers comment on the early chapters of a fic and then not comment on the final chapter, but I chalk it up to the reader either being busy or just not liking the ending, which I'm oddly okay with.
