Folklore Christmas cards

(Anonymous) 2025-09-07 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Bit of a longshot here, I admit, but every year I used to get some Folklore Christmas/Yule cards from a company called Hedingham Fair, but it CTE earlier this year. Does anyone know where I could buy cards in the same style? Is any other company picking up the baton, do you know?

And is there anywhere else I could ask that might have a better idea?

Since they closed, it’s hard to know their style but Google did show a few examples. Google also had similar styles from other companies in the results so I’d start there.

Etsy would be the next logical place. You’ll need to use a lot of keywords to search and still be prepared to page forward many, many times to find anything. Etsy has been overrun with Temu and AI, to say nothing of the accounts that steal artwork from other listings/websites. Honest makers get shoved to the bottom of search results, unfortunately.

fuckin' Etsy, man. it is still the best place to find a variety of custom-makers, but yeah the bar for entry is super high. I would guess stationery is as full of crap as fabric and fiber arts is.

OP might want to try artist-focused sites too, like society6, or lesser-known platforms like storenvy. I've gotten really nice products from society6 even though the artists don't get a ton of commission from them (kinda like Spoonflower).

Etsy is the worst. Their AI shuts down stores that have never violated anything in 10+ years and then promotes the scammers. It’s fucking tragic. But they haven’t closed down every small maker yet so OP might find something on there.

Postcrossing might help you out, they have a forum where you could ask people.
Since there are lots and lots of postcard writers and collectors on there, I'd be surprised if nobody could help you out! Good luck.
