Lurking is fine. I don't judge.
Seems like depression to me though. Being afraid of affecting others, thinking that it's not worth it, unable to even leave kudos.

I like ANs. I copy past them when I create a document from the old fics on LJ, sometimes with a writer's icon and a banner. I don't understand why someone dislikes ANs. You can read books if you don't like fics, ANs, disclaimers and all.

WIPs are awesome. A 20K+ fic is enough content for me. I used to read smaller fics on comms and kink memes, but AO3 makes it hard.

THIS. I've been a lurker for a very long time (I always left kudos though) and for me it was because I was in a very bad place mentally both IRL and both regarding previously burning out on too much fandom and expectations from different fandom friends.
Maybe OP will get back to interacting with the fandom when they're in a better head space. That's what I'm hoping.

(I miss the old kink memes on LJ ;___;)

I think this is what my problem is. I feel like I never have the energy to do stuff like that, but I'm not THAT busy in my life. Everything just feels like too much effort, even stuff like that that really isn't.
